WAFL Watch - Round 17
Find out how Freo's players fared in the recent round of WAFL action
The two games to take place last weekend saw Perth 13.19 (97) defeat Subiaco 9.7 (71) and Swan Districts 16.14 (110) defeat Claremont 10.11 (71).
With only percentage separating third placed Swan Districts, fourth placed Perth and fifth placed East Perth, senior development and assistant coach Simon Lloyd said the upcoming round was going to be an interesting one.
“Swan Districts had a great win over Claremont last weekend,” he said.
“East Perth, Perth and Swan Districts are all sitting on eight wins.
“Then there is East Fremantle on six wins so you will find over the next couple of weeks these teams are going to be jostling for the final two positions in the top four.”
“It’s going to make for some interesting viewing.
“Swan Districts play East Perth at Leederville this Saturday and I think that's going to be the game of the round.”
