Fremantle’s mix of goal kickers is a good sign heading into Sunday’s Carlton Draught Derby against high scoring West Coast, says Matthew Pavlich.

Freo had nine individual goal scorers against St Kilda in Sunday’s 37-point win at Etihad Stadium.

Importantly, big men Aaron Sandilands and Jon Griffin also drifted forward to boot two goals each.

A spread of goal kickers will be key against West Coast come round 19, with the Eagles averaging 103 points per game this season.

“Sandi, like a couple of guys dropped forward and kicked a couple, which is good,” Pavlich told Fox Footy.

“It’s a strength of our side that we don’t rely on one or two.

“It’s about all of us contributing.”

Pavlich said he was looking forward to Sunday’s Derby that will be crucial in determining the final make-up of the top four.

“The Derby is always big, all of WA will be excited,” he said.

“We just need to focus on what we want to do and get it done.”
