Fremantle have confirmed two changes to the Club’s starting 23 to face the Western Bulldogs in Round 4 at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Midfielder Jaeger O'Meara returns to the team, named in the middle of the ground after being a late withdrawal from the Club’s RAC Derby-winning side due to illness.
Corey Wagner is the other inclusion, named on the bench alongside Bailey Banfield, Isaiah Dudley, Jeremy Sharp and Karl Worner.
Wagner was also a late withdrawal last weekend due to a tight calf, but proved his fitness at main training on Thursday to be named in the team.
Last week’s substitute James Aish and midfielder Neil Erasmus have both been omitted.
Fremantle co-vice-captain Andrew Brayshaw will play his 150th AFL game in purple.
Brayshaw will become the 23rd Fremantle player to reach the milestone, one of only four active players on the 2025 list.
The 25-year-old averages 23.27 disposals, 4.54 tackles and 3.36 in 11 games against the Bulldogs.
Jeremy Sharp will play his 50th AFL game (23 with the Gold Coast Suns) and hasn’t missed a game for Fremantle since making his Club debut in Round 1 of 2024.
Dudley will feature in his second senior game after making his AFL debut in Round 3’s RAC Derby. Dudley was a live wire in the forward line, kicking two goals in the first quarter.
The tactical substitute will be named one hour before the bounce on Sunday.
The emergencies for the clash are Will Brodie, Erasmus and Liam Reidy.
Fremantle have won two of the last three meetings with the Bulldogs at Optus Stadium by an average of 18.5 points.
Sunday’s match against the Bulldogs begins at 3:10pm WST and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy, and streamed live on Kayo and 7plus.
