Ruckman Sean Darcy has accepted the one match suspension offered by the AFL’s match review panel for striking Richmond’s Nick Vlastulin in Sunday’s clash at Domain Stadium.
The incident occurred in the second quarter and was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head.
The charge carried a two-match suspension, which was reduced to one game with Darcy’s early plea.
By accepting the one-game suspension, Darcy will miss Sunday’s final game of the home and away season against Essendon, but it also means the 19-year-old will be available for selection in round one, 2018.
