Peel Thunder defeated East Fremantle by 13 points on Saturday at East Fremantle Oval.
Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the seven listed Fremantle players fared.
Tommy Sheridan
Played on ball for the game with 21 kicks and nine tackles. It was a solid effort around the clearances, helping drive through the middle in the last quarter to help get the result we needed.
Garrick Ibbotson
Played on the wing and went back at times during the second half. Garrick started well, he was strong with his ball use and had seven marks that helped set us up from half back.
Jon Griffin
Rucked for the game and had 17 possessions, 36 hit outs, seven clearances and two goals in a really strong performance against East Fremantle’s Matthew Watson and Cameron Symonds. He really stood up in the last quarter around the stoppages to help give us first use and deliver the ball inside 50.
Sam Collins
Played back for the day and again was strong with his roll off and support for the other defenders. Sam took eight marks and had six rebounds from defensive 50, helping helped set up the play from defence
Taylin Duman
Starting in defence, Taylin impressed with his work rate as a tall back. In the last quarter we threw him on the wing where he ran hard and helped link up the play.
Luke Strnadica
Played forward and then in the ruck alongside Jon Griffin. Luke had 20 hit outs, performed well around the clearances and provided a target forward.
Zac Dawson
Zac started forward again was strong with his hit around the contest. When Peel needed some defensive support in the third quarter he went down back and was able to impact defensively.
