Players tee off at Burswood
The players had a break from the gruelling pre-season to enjoy a round of golf
While there wasn't nearly as much perspiration as a gruelling pre-season training session, the 37 degree day left players and sponsors reaching for sweat towels and water.
Before tee-off, Hayden Ballantyne predicted clubs would fly should Kepler Bradley not strike the ball well.
Those who know 'Ballaz' well were aware the pocket-rocket was as likely as anyone to display a bit of fire, whether it be on a footy field or a fairway.
At the first hole, the Freo Super Goals were set up for players to aim at, while delicious Four'N Twenty pies awaited all at the 10th.
David Mundy was filmed shooting out of a bunker, however, 'Barra' wanted to make it clear he was only acting for the camera and had not found a sand-trap all day.
Jayden Pitt and his teammates, DVG Hyundai. Team 2, comprising Alan, Joe and Steven, won the event.
Thanks to DVG Hyundai, a car was on offer should anyone score a hole-in-one on the day.
Unfortunately, no one managed to achieve the feat.
Everyone involved had a great day of golf, but now it's back to training for the players.
