Two young female footy fans were unveiled as the latest additions to the Fremantle Dockers team at Freo headquarters today.

Johnny ‘the Doc’ Docker was very excited to announce to his junior fans that he has signed his younger sister, Jenny, up to KidZone Club.

Jenny Docker loves all sport, especially AFL, and is very excited to be able to attend her very first game at Patersons Stadium this weekend.

KidZone Club ambassador Hayden Ballantyne was also on hand to meet Jenny and announce who he had chosen as the new Freo Number 1 Junior Ticket holder- nine-year-old Madison Jeffery from Sinagra.

Madison, a huge ‘Ballaz’ fan, sent in a great presentation called ‘The Purple Princess’.

It detailed her journey as a Freo Dockers’ fan which began when her parents signed her up as a member.

She is a keen Auskicker and even kicked three goals in a row once which won her the best-on-ground award.

Ballantyne said it was incredibly tough to choose from the dozens of entries, but that Madison was a worthy winner.

“Madison always replies to Johnny’s ‘My Monday Message’, attends all the club’s KidZone events and enters all the KidZone competitions,” he said.

“And her presentation was very good.

“She has the ‘Purple Passion’ and I’m sure she’ll do a great job as the Number 1 Junior Ticket Holder.”

Ballantyne said it was also great that Freo now had a female mascot - the first club in the AFL to do so.

“There are just as many female fans supporting the AFL as there are males, so I think it’s only fair that the club has acknowledged this,” he said.

For those wanting to get a first glimpse of Jenny Docker, Johnny ‘the Doc’ Docker and his sister will be taking part in all the fun and activities of the Family Fun Day leading in to the match against Richmond this Sunday at Patersons Stadium.
