Fremantle has submitted its 25-man squad for Sunday’s Carlton Mid Derby against the West Coast Eagles.

Five players have been added, including defender Alex Silvagni for what could be his first match of the season.

Silvagni was in good form for Claremont in the WAFL last week, hauling in nine marks playing as a defender.

Ruckman Jonathon Griffin also comes into the squad along with Nick Suban, Jesse Crichton and new recruit Hayden Crozier.

The two players out of the team that played Hawthorn last week were hard running defender Dylan Roberton and Garrick Ibbotson, who was a surprise omission.

Three players will be cut when the final 22 is announced at 2.30pm (WST) on Friday.
