Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich says he has not had time to think about whether he will play on for a 17th season next year.
The six-time All Australian is contracted until the end of 2015 when he is expected to sit down with the club to discuss his future.
Pavlich told Channel 7’s Game Day that he had not yet given it any thought.
“You get so caught up in daily AFL life, being a captain and everything happening with that,” he said.
“It hasn’t entered my mind at all, to be absolutely frank.”
Pavlich said he hoped to play football for as long as his body would allow.
“It’s been my profession for a long time, I’d love to keep playing as long as I can,” he said.
“You can only go to the well so many times, it’ll be weighed up later in the year.”
