Fremantle has made four changes to the team to take on Carlton this Saturday night at Domain Stadium.
Jon Griffin, Cam Sutcliffe, Matt Taberner and Hayden Crozier come into the team while Clancee Pearce, Zac Clarke, Paul Duffield and Tendai Mzungu have been omitted.
Listed as emergencies for the game are Zac Clarke, Ed Langdon and Lachie Weller.
Speaking on Thursday morning Ross Lyon said it was great to see Jon Griffin return to AFL football.
Griffin has not played AFL football since round 18 last year.
“He’s a really great character Jon, he’s got good values, works really hard and is team orientated,” Lyon said.
“It’s a great story coming back from a (knee) reconstruction he signed when he knew Sandilands and Clarke were in front
“He loves the club and he loves Perth, for me, as a hard nosed football coach, I just want him to play well.”

Crozier, Taberner and Sutcliffe all come into the line-up after solid performances for Peel Thunder in their win against East Fremantle last Saturday.
