No Fyfe:
Fremantle will take to the field on Sunday without the prolific ball winner for the first time in nearly a year.
Fyfe’s injury opens the door for another player with several in the mix including a possible debutant such as Lachie Weller and Ed Langdon.
Match Preview: Fremantle v GWS
Giant task:
Fremantle is yet to lose to the AFL’s newest club from three encounters. Freo has averaged 21 goals against the Giants while conceding just under seven goals. GWS will make history if they overcome the home team at Domain Stadium while it may be a chance for Fremantle to boost its percentage.
Returning stars:
Several key Giants may make the trip west including co-captain Phil Davis and Devon Smith, who would add experience to the line-up.
Captain makes move in history books
Four points:
Every win is crucial this time of year but for Fremantle there are plenty of teams breathing down its neck. Ross Lyon will be looking for a complete performance.
Fremantle play GWS at Domain Stadium on Saturday 2 August. Bounce down is at 2.40pm.
