- WAFL: Peel dent Perth's finals chance
- Switkowski collects and snaps
- Banfield finishes off Freo passage
Port Adelaide have finished their season in style with a commanding 43-point win over Fremantle in the final home and away clash of the year.
Playing under stand in coach David Hale, Freo made a bright start with a five-goal opening term, but were overwhelmed by the Power as the hosts ran out 15.20 (110) to 10.7 (67) victors.
Ed Langdon was among Freo's best with 25 touches and two goals while Nat Fyfe had another superb game with 26 disposals, 15 contested possesions, five clearances and a goal.
Debutant Hugh Dixon provided the highlight for Freo with an instinctive snap late in the final term to notch up a goal in his first AFL game.
