Fremantle has confirmed a change to its playing list ahead of the 2025 NAB AFLW Season.

Jae Flynn has been advised she will not be offered a contract for next year.

Flynn was selected at pick 18 in the 2023 AFLW Supplementary Draft, debuted in round 3 of the 2023 season, and played 16 games in purple across two seasons.

A former State League Basketballer, Flynn added speed and fearlessness to the side, and received recognition as Fremantle’s Best First Year Player in 2023.

Head of AFLW Claire Heffernan thanked Flynn for her dedication and wished her well.

“Jae has been a wonderful addition to our program,” Heffernan said.

“A tough and determined defender, Jae embraced every challenge and was always willing to go above and beyond for the team.

“It is always hard to farewell good people from our program; we wish Jae all the best for the future.”
