Megan Kauffman is an inside midfielder / forward who has transitioned to football from tennis.
She spent six years in the USA as a college tennis player before returning to Perth.
In her first year of footy she was dominant as an inside mid and was best on ground in the WA State Amateur v State Country game.
She’s already developed good footy smarts in her short time in the game with obvious scope to improve.

“Megan is the first player to get drafted out of amateurs in WA.
“She’s a former college tennis player in the US and we’ve had similar success with former tennis players with Janelle Cuthbertson.
“Megan is a different type of player to Janelle, she’s an in and under midfielder who we also think can make an impact as a small forward.
“Megan played really well at Wembley in what was her first year of footy.
“We think her upside is huge, being only 25 years old and to have only played one year of footy.”
