Justin Longmuir is optimistic that Fremantle will have a handful of players become available for selection ahead of Sunday’s clash with Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium.

Fremantle had six outs ahead of their win against North Melbourne with Rory Lobb, Blake Acres, Travis Colyer, Michael Frederick, Griffin Logue and Lloyd Meek all entering the AFL Health and Safety Protocols.

Longmuir said the group had all returned to training with all signs pointing to them being available for selection.

“(Lobb) was at training today and got through it well. It looks like he’ll be ready to play,” Longmuir told 7NEWS.

“It looks like they’ll all put their hands up for selection. The beauty of last week’s drama was that (the players entered the protocols) early in the week and that gives them a full week of training (this week).

“They all trained today and they’ll all train on Thursday and put their hands up for selection.”

Fremantle utilised teenage forwards Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss against North Melbourne and Longmuir said he wouldn’t rule out keeping both in the line-up even if Lobb returns.

The concussion sustained by Sam Switkowski against the Kangaroos has opened up a spot in the forward line.

“We’ll have to have a look at the mix, Switta picked up an injury on the weekend so that’s another spot in the team for another player,” Longmuir said.

“We’ll just keep looking at our mix. We haven’t played three talls but that’s not to say we won’t this week or going forward.

“We’ll have to wait until Thursday to see how it all pans out.”

Defenders Alex Pearce and Luke Ryan are 'all clear' to play despite coming off for treatment during Fremantle's clash against North Melbourne, although Ryan was still experiencing ‘a bit of soreness’ in his ankle.
