The Fremantle Dockers hit the training track on Tuesday ahead of Saturday night’s clash with the GWS Giants at Domain Stadium.
The session began with the team going through dynamic recovery, an important aspect of training especially considering the physical nature of their round six match against Adelaide.
The team then stretched it out and moved into interval sprints and ground touches before moving into ball work.
Freo’s ball movement was smooth in close quarters handball drills, with the players providing plenty of voice and enthusiasm early in the session.
Skill work came after, and captain David Mundy looked crisp with his skills when kicking to Clancee Pearce, who made an impressive return from injury for Peel Thunder on Saturday.
Training finished with simulated pressure when moving the ball out of the backline, and Freo big man Michael Apeness was manoeuvring and pressuring well after recently returning to training after a number of knee injuries.
