The AFL and AFL Coaches Association (AFLCA) will combine for a special AFL Awards virtual event on Thursday night to celebrate the achievements of players across the competition in 2021.
The virtual awards will commence live at 6.30pm WST on Fox Footy on Thursday night.
Winners will participate in the awards remotely from their homes around the country.
Hosted by Fox Footy’s Sarah Jones, the AFL Awards will feature:
- 2021 Therabody AFL All Australian Team
- 2021 NAB AFL Rising Star Award
- 2021 AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year
- 2021 AFL Coaches Association Best Young Player
- 2021 Coleman Medallist
There’s plenty on the line for some Fremantle stars including the wait to see if veteran midfielder David Mundy and ruck Sean Darcy will be selected in the 2021 Therabody All Australian Team.
While young guns such as Freo midfielder Caleb Serong and defender Hayden Young could be in the mix for the AFLCA Best Young Player award.
