The Fremantle Dockers and McDonald’s Australia are proud to announce a three-year extension to their long-standing partnership.
This comes as Macca’s celebrates 50 years of providing great tasting food and supporting its customers, people and communities in Australia.
To celebrate the continued partnership, Macca’s is holding a Freo Fry-day on Friday 30 July. Simply show your proof of membership to get a free medium fries at any restaurant in Perth.
CEO Simon Garlick said Fremantle was thrilled to have McDonald’s continue to throw their full support behind the club.
“McDonald’s Australia has been a great supporter of the club since 2016 and what better time to launch the ongoing partnership than alongside their own 50th Birthday celebrations,” Garlick said.
“They have stood by our AFL and AFLW teams for a number of seasons. From our members, board, coaches and players, administration, and everyone at Freo…thank you and Happy 50th Birthday McDonald’s.”

The celebrations will continue during Fremantle’s Sunday clash with Richmond in round 20 at Optus Stadium.
There will be plenty of giveaways, including 50 x $50 McDonald’s vouchers, as well as activations pre-game on the precinct where you can meet Ronald McDonald, the Hamburglar and Grimace to wish them a Happy Birthday!
Opening the doors to its first Australian restaurant in 1971, Macca’s now boasts 1,009 restaurants nationwide, employing more than 107,000 people and serving two million Aussies every day.
Today, Macca’s is the largest employer of young people in the country, having created job opportunities for more than 1.5 million Australians throughout the past 50 years.
Using its 50th anniversary to thank Aussie customers, Macca’s will be throwing its biggest celebration yet, launching a new range of never-before-seen promotions, menu items and unique collaborations from June until the end of August.
