Fremantle have made one change to the team that will line up in Thursday night’s clash against Geelong in the Starlight Purple Haze Game, proudly presented by South32.
Intercept defender Ethan Hughes will return to the side to replace young defender Brandon Walker who is being managed.
Hughes returns to the Fremantle line-up for the first time since injuring his shoulder in Freo's RAC Derby clash with West Coast in round seven.
Walker joins Lloyd Meek, Mitch Crowden and Connor Blakely as the emergencies, with one of the four to be named as the medical sub an hour prior to bounce down.
Blakely is technically an omission after being an unused medical sub in round 17 against Hawthorn.
The Thursday night clash marks the 19th annual Starlight Purple Haze Game, with Fremantle fans, players and staff raising more than $1.8 million for Starlight since 2003.
In the 14th minute of the opening term, fans can ‘stand and cheer for Milli’ in a special tribute to Starlight Star Milli Lucas, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 14 following a long battle with cancer.
The theme of the night is Forever 14, with Fremantle wearing a special Milli Tribute Jumper, drawn and designed by Milli’s sister Tess and brother Joel.
Bounce down for the primetime clash is at 6:10pm WST.
The game will be broadcast live nationally on CHANNEL 7 and Fox Footy. The game can also be streamed on Kayo.
