Mitch Crowden will return to the starting 22 when Fremantle take on North Melbourne at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.
The forward/midfielder will come in for the injured Adam Cerra as Freo’s only change for the clash.
Technically, Crowden retains his place in the team after playing three quarters as a medical sub in Fremantle’s win against Adelaide in round five.
Tobe Watson, Connor Blakely, Lloyd Meek and Darcy Tucker have been named as Fremantle’s emergencies.
One of Watson, Blakely, Meek and Tucker will be announced as the medical sub one hour before bounce down.
Senior coach Justin Longmuir said in Thursday’s media conference that he was reluctant to make too many changes for the clash after a good team performance against Adelaide.
“At this stage I think Crowden will come into the side,” Longmuir said on Thursday.
“He came on and did some midfield minutes in the second half. We thought that gave us a good mix. He’ll come into the side. We’re still working out our medical sub.”
Unfortunately, the game will be closed to fans due to the three-day lockdown in the Perth and Peel regions that commences from midnight on Saturday.
The game will be broadcast live into Perth on 7mate and Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.
