Fremantle’s Fans and Community department are partnering with Fair Game sports to hold a football boots and used sports equipment drive this Saturday, 27 February at Fremantle’s round five AFLW fixture against the Brisbane Lions.
Fair Game’s mission is to create an equitable, healthier and sustainable Australia by delivering unique health and fitness programs and recycled sports equipment to remote and under-serviced communities.
Three blue coloured bins will be positioned at the main gates of Fremantle Oval from 12.30pm-2.20pm, where fans will be encouraged to donate their used or unwanted sporting gear such as football boots, footballs, soccer balls, tennis racquets etc. by placing them into the designated blue bins on arrival.
