Fremantle fans love Nat Fyfe and it seems the feeling is mutual.
The star midfielder, who was named in the Virgin Australia All Australian team on Tuesday night, said he could not wait to run out onto Domain Stadium on Friday night.
More than 40,000 Freo fans will turn the stadium into a sea of purple for the Preliminary Final against Hawthorn.
While many players do their best to block out the crowd noise during the game, Fyfe said he revelled in it.
“We have the best fans in Australia,” Fyfe said.
“They always put on a really good show for us.
“I like to go out and gauge where I can really soak it up.”
Fyfe said playing a blockbuster final in front of a home crowd was every players’ dream.
“It’s what you want to do as a little kid, play in front of a big crowd in a home final,” he said.
“It’s going to be a huge atmosphere.
