Fremantle have a new opponent for round two after the AFL released an updated fixture for the opening two rounds of the 2021 NAB AFL Women’s competition.
Round one will continue as fixtured for Fremantle, taking on GWS at Fremantle Oval on Sunday 31 January, however the game will now commence at 1.10pm WST.
Instead of travelling to Melbourne to take on Collingwood in round two, Fremantle will instead play Adelaide at Norwood Oval on Sunday 7 February at 4.40pm (local time).
The new fixture means Fremantle can travel interstate to South Australia without the need for quarantining upon their return under WA’s current border rules.
Tickets for Fremantle’s round one clash against GWS will go on sale to AFL Women’s members and the general public on Monday.
AFLW members will have a one-hour presale in which they can exclusively redeem their tickets prior to tickets going on sale to the general public.
AFLW members can continue to redeem their tickets throughout the on sale period until allocations are exhausted.

The introduction of ticketing will allow crowds to attend in a COVID-safe environment.
Tickets for subsequent Fremantle home games will go on sale the Monday ahead of the game.
