Player Development Coach Steve Malaxos reviews the performances of Fremantle players who played in the WAFL at the weekend.

Ryan Murphy (South Fremantle) 14 kicks, 2 handpasses, 9 marks, 9 goals

In one word - outstanding. Kicking nine goals straight is a phenomenal effort. Ryan lead well and got his goals from a range of avenues and, importantly, he had four tackles

Clayton Hinkley (Swan Districts) 13 kicks, 11 handpasses, 1 mark, I goal
Clayton was a solid contributor on the ball and across half forward. He was a valuable link man for the Swans

Chris Smith (Swan Districts) 3 kicks, 5 handpasses, 1 mark
Chris had a strong game in the centre tagging West Perth’s Callum Chambers. He heavily restricted the veteran’s influence.

Ryley Dunn (East Fremantle) 15 kicks, 5 handpasses, 7 marks, 1 goal
Ryley had a quiet start to the match but became instrumental in East Fremantle’s fight back in the second quarter. His tackling and hardness around the football was outstanding in an on ball role.

Calib Mourish (East Fremantle) 10 kicks, 3 handpasses, 1 mark, 3 goals, 8 hit outs

Calib attacked the ball strongly and did a lot of team orientated things in his roles as a ruckman and key forward.

Des Headland (Subiaco reserves)
Des was moving well and used the ball very well in an on ball and forward role.
