Fremantle had its main training session today ahead of Saturday’s Elimination Final against Geelong at the MCG.

Captain Matthew Pavlich trained fully, as did Hayden Ballantyne, Tendai Mzungu, David Mundy and Lee Spurr, who all missed Tuesday’s session.

Antoni Grover and Alex Silvagni both played as key defenders against forwards Pavlich, Kepler Bradley, Zac Clarke and Chris Mayne when the team practiced inside 50 entries.

The pair appear to be vying for Luke McPharlin’s spot in the heart of the Freo defence.

Ruckmen Aaron Sandilands and Jon Griffin took each other on in stoppage practice for most of the session.
