Defender Roger Hayden is expected to miss 3-5 weeks after suffering a collapsed lung.

Roger was injured after a collision with a Western Bulldogs player in Sunday's game at Subiaco Oval. He was admitted to hospital that night, where he had a tube inserted into the lung to inflate it.

He will remain in hospital until the lung has successfully been fully inflated.

He will only be able to resume running and some limited training next week.

Roger has averaged 16 disposals, 5 marks and 2 tackles in his seven matches for Fremantle in 2008.
