The Western Bulldogs have suffered another loss in their defence with Dylan Addison ruled out ahead of Sunday’s match against Fremantle at Patersons Stadium

Already without Robert Murphy (hamstring), scans this week revealed Addison suffered a fractured jaw during the Dogs’ game against Essendon on Saturday night after a collision with Bomber Stewart Crameri in the second quarter.

The club has indicated that Murphy will be out for at least one week while Addison will be restricted to the sidelines for three to four games.

After playing just four games last year, Addison has been a regular for the Dogs in 2012, playing 12 out of a possible 13 games.

He has been a solid contributor in defence and is enjoying a solid season, averaging just under 14 disposals per game.

Veteran defender Lindsay Gilbee who has returned from injury and been named an emergency in the past two weeks, is a possible inclusion.

Nathan Djerrkura - who has also returned from injury - will also be considered after a strong performance in the VFL on the weekend.
