Meet the "Live the Dream" participants: Milton Miskin
Milton Miskin of Broome
Live the Dream is a once in a lifetime opportunity for 16 young Australians to become immersed in the culture of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club and ‘live the life’ of an AFL player for five days.
Live the Dream offers participants a rare opportunity to develop skills and behaviours that can deliver long-term benefits to the individual and their local community.
The program runs from 18-22 July and thanks to Decmil Australia, the cost of the program for the participants is free, including meals, accommodation and apparel.
Eight Fremantle Dockers’ players will act as mentors for the boys during the program.
Meet Milton Miskin, one of the lucky young men who has been given the opportunity to ‘Live the Dream’.
Milton is a 16-year-old from Broome who attends Broome Senior High School and plays footy for the Broome Saints.
Milton said he looked forward to passing on the knowledge he gains from Live the Dream.
“It would be a great experience, giving me the opportunity to develop my leadership skills which I could take back to my community and pass on,” he said.
