The Fremantle Dockers had their annual team photo shoot today at the Fly By Night Musicians Club in Freo.

As always, captain and coach acted as the centrepieces, sitting in the middle of the second row surrounded by the entire squad, bar Anthony Morabito, who is preparing for knee surgery in Sydney next week.

A series of photos were taken of the players and coaches with club staff, sponsors and charity partners Starlight, Constable Care and Redkite.

Community Goals Raffle winner Amy Richards also had her pic taken with the squad, as did Ernie Zentner, who won the right to be snapped with the team at last year’s Gala Auction and gave the honour to his father, Walter.

Afterwards, all the players and coaches had individual headshots taken – the one’s you’ll see on their player profiles on fremantlefc.com.au.

It was a case of age before youth as veterans Matthew Pavlich, Aaron Sandilands and Luke McPharlin used their seniority as an excuse to push up to the front of the long queue.

Hayden Ballantyne sported a new beard, while Zac Dawson revealed a crew-cut hairstyle. Unfortunately, Jesse Crichton’s mullet hadn’t gone anywhere.

Zac Clarke tried a serious face for his pose, but that didn’t last long when his teammates saw the funny side of his attempt at a poker face.

Meanwhile, Hayden Crozier was copping it from his teammates, with one of them jokingly asking him if he’d remembered to bring his foundation.

For many in the squad, the photo shoot was business-as-usual, however, for the first-year players, it was yet another new experience in their maiden year of AFL football.
