This Saturday, Fremantle takes on Adelaide in a trial match at AAMI Stadium, with the match bouncing down at 9am (WST).
The game won’t be televised, but we’ll be there to bring you live Facebook and Twitter updates, video highlights on Docker TV and a match report at the conclusion of the game.
While there may not be any premiership points or NAB Cup qualification at stake, the contest will be crucial for both sides as they ramp up preparations for round 1 of the home and away season.
Spots in the team for the season opener against West Coast are still up for grabs, so every player that pulls on the jumper on Saturday will be giving their all to impress Ross Lyon and the coaching staff.
With champion ruckman Aaron Sandilands now likely to miss the first month of the season, the ruck will be of particular interest to fans.
Jon Griffin could get an opportunity to cement the lead ruck position, but youngster Jack Hannath has impressed in the pre-season and will be keen to show he’s got what it takes.
So make sure you’re following @Fremantle_FC on Twitter and Fremantle Football Club on Facebook for live updates, and keep a close eye on fremantlefc.com.au for video highlights and a match report on Saturday 23 February from 9am (WST).
