Michael Barlow's thumb injury has opened up a spot in Fremantle’s line-up for Sunday’s game against Brisbane and possibly the Toyota AFL Finals Series.
Nick Suban was omitted from last Sunday’s game against Hawthorn and was held back from WAFL action to be the AFL emergency.
He could earn a reprieve, as his toughness might be required in the midfield in Barlow’s absence.
Matt de Boer loses no points for hardness and could come into the team after he also lost his place for the round 21 game.
Anthony Morabito might come under strong consideration, should Ross Lyon want to add pace and power against the spring-heeled young Lions.
Nat Fyfe could also be missing from the team this week if his challenge against a two-game ban is unsuccessful on Tuesday evening.
Kepler Bradley (hamstring), Garrick Ibbotson (back), Clancee Pearce (hip) and Michael Apeness (concussion) all returned to action with Peel Thunder on the weekend and will also put their hands up for selection.
Hayden Ballantyne is expected to return for the game at the Gabba after he missed the Hawthorn match with a hamstring injury.
