Fremantle has made one change for Saturday’s Carlton Draught Derby, with defender Alex Silvagni replaced by Matt Taberner.
Silvagni comes out of the team with a rib injury for the 40th match between the two teams.
The emergencies for the clash are Anthony Morabito, Tom Sheridan and Kepler Bradley.
Zac Clarke had been under a cloud with a knee injury but he was named.
Freo general manager of football operations Chris Bond said Silvagni’s omission was just precautionary.
"He received a couple of knocks... you would have seen the vision against Richmond,” he said
"But he received a knock last week as well. It’s nothing serious, we’re expecting him to be available next week."
Bond said the club had full confidence in second-year forward Taberner, who has played well for Peel Thunder in recent weeks.
"His work rate and the way he has gone about it is outstanding since he has come to the club,” he said.
"He is a prolific trainer, the way he goes about it, but his form’s been really good as well playing as a key forward for Peel
"He comes into the team with great expectations.
The Eagles posses a tall forward line. Despite this, Bond was confident whoever played in defence in the absence of Silvagni and All Australians Michael Johnson and Luke McPharlin would perform
“Ross (Lyon) is on record for saying we’ve got our key defenders out at the moment but we are a no excuse football club,” he said.
“We expect players who come in to perform and do the job they need to do.
"We know its not just the back six, it’s the whole team involved."
David Mundy plays his 200th game in the Derby, and Bond added he was a highly respected member of the team.
"He’s been drafted to the club so he’s done the journey,” he said
"He’s worked really hard, he’s grown as a person and a player throughout a number of years and it’s a big day for him and a big day for the family, so hopefully we can get the result."
Fremantle has won the past four Carlton Draught Derbies to bring the win-loss ledger to 21-18 in favour of West Coast.
