The club’s three new draftees were on show at Fremantle Oval on Monday morning.

Michael Apeness, Alex Pearce and Brady Grey didn’t join the main group, instead they watched keenly as their new teammates toughed out a gruelling running session.

Senior development/assistant coach Simon Lloyd put the wide-eyed youngsters through a series of in-close handball drills and explained in detail what the playing group was doing.

Michael Walters, who was not training with the main group, introduced himself to the trio.

The draftees will be unveiled to the media at club headquarters on Monday afternoon, before joining the rest of the team for their first week of training as AFL footballers.
