Fremantle members and supporters will not be affected by an AFL trial of flexible ticket prices for the 2016 home and away season.
Under the AFL’s proposal, also known as dynamic ticketing, all 18 clubs have the option to vary their ticket prices for a maximum of four games a year, including an increase of up to $3 per ticket.
The AFL said in a statement on Wednesday that “a small number of clubs” would trial a “flexible pricing model for some matches”.
Fremantle CEO Steve Rosich said the club had already resolved not to trial dynamic ticketing and the option to increase ticket prices by $3 for four games this season.

“The AFL had advised us that dynamic or flexile ticket pricing was permitted at our home games at Domain Stadium this season,” Rosich said.
“However, we resolved some time ago not to go down that path for our home games at Domain Stadium.
“Reserved seat memberships continue to be the most efficient and economical way to attend Fremantle Dockers home games.”
Reserved seat memberships for season 2016 are still available at the club.
