Fitness test for Nat Fyfe
The West Australian
Nat Fyfe’s moment of truth will arrive this morning when he tries to prove he has recovered from the leg injury that has sidelined him for the past fortnight.
The Dockers will train at Fremantle Oval, just seven hours before the team for Saturday’s qualifying final against Sydney will be named.
Brownlow Medal favourite Fyfe has been given until the last minute to prove himself after wearing a guard to protect his injured leg.He did not participate in a light session yesterday but completed some running drills on Monday.
Docker Pavlich still coy on future

remantle skipper Matthew Pavlich insists his upcoming book release isn't a sign that he's definitely going to retire at the end of the AFL season.
Pavlich's autobiography - Purple Heart - will be released shortly after this year's grand final, with the book detailing the 33-year-old's AFL journey.
For most players, the release of an autobiography normally comes after they retire.
Easy does it for Dockers

Fremantle enjoyed a light session in 30 degree heat this morning as they look ahead to Saturday's AFL qualifying final against Sydney at Domain Stadium.
All-Australian duo Nat Fyfe and Garrick Ibbotson, plus veteran Luke McPharlin, sat out the informal session at Fremantle Oval, as did most of the coaching staff.
Midfielder Fyfe, who has missed the last two games with an inflammation of the left fibula, will have a fitness test on Thursday to see if he can line up against the Swans.
Aaron Sandilands missed All Australian selection, only interested in premierships
Herald Sun
LAST year’s All Australian ruckman Aaron Sandilands has brushed aside his 2015 snub insisting all that matters to him is chasing a flag.
The 32-year-old Fremantle star was the biggest omission from the 2015 All Australian squad, with the news making the back page of Perth newspapers with the headline “Sandi Snub.”
But the four-time All-Australian said he couldn’t have cared less about missing out, despite yet another strong season, far more concerned about taking his team to premiership glory.
“I’m not worried about it at all,” Sandilands said. “It would be a pretty hard job to choose the best 40 players in the comp, so that doesn’t bother me.”
AFL Finals: Nat Fyfe sits out Fremantle Dockers training ahead of qualifying final against Sydney

SUPERSTAR Nat Fyfe was a notable absentee as most of Fremantle’s big guns appeared for a light skills session at Fremantle Oval on Wednesday morning.
It was quite literally the calm before the storm for the Dockers, who trained in 26C heat as Perth headed towards a predicted top of 31C.
Rain and a maximum temperature of just 17C is forecast for Saturday’s first qualifying final against Sydney at Subiaco Oval, with the chance of a thunderstorm during the game.
Fremantle will be well prepared for those conditions, having played a large number of games in the wet this season.
Fyfe, who has missed the past two games with a lower leg problem, is expected to be put through a searching fitness test at Thursday’s main training session.
