Fremantle small forward Hayden Ballantyne wants more pressure from the midfield and forwards against the Suns next week.
Ballantyne kept the pressure up with seven tackles in Freo’s 27-point loss to Richmond at Domain Stadium on Friday night.

He said the defence was left exposed too many times by a lack of pressure up the field.
“We let them chip around the ball…we didn’t shut them down going forward,” he said.

“Our pressure wasn’t great through the forwards and mids, so the defenders got caught out a few times.
“It was our first loss of the year and I didn’t really like it, hopefully we get back on the horse next week.”
Ballantyne said the pressure would need to increase if Fremantle are to beat Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium next Saturday.
“We’re going to have to regroup and focus on what we need to work on ahead of the Suns next week,” he said.
