Fremantle's Jack Hannath wants to come back bigger and better in 2016.
The South Australian product, who was taken at pick eight in the 2012 Pre-season Draft, is one of a handful of young talls trying to secure a permanent spot in Freo’s line-up.
He played three games in 2015, and along with Zac Clarke, Matt Taberner and Michael Apeness, is pushing into the AFL team.
Hannath said improving his ruck skills would help him become more of an asset to the team.
“I want to keep working on my versatility, “ he said.
“I want to improve my forward game and work in the ruck.
“There are few young guys that went through the ruck/forward role in 2015, all vying for a similar role.
“It’s extra motivation to come back and put your hand up in 2016.”
The 200cm forward wants to keep building his 101kg frame.
“I’ll focus on building my body and come back fitter and stronger in 2016,” Hannath said.
