Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich has been named the club’s most in-form veteran by the Herald Sun after a stunning start to 2015.
Pavlich, who is 33, has booted 18 goals from seven games this year, among his best ever starts to a season.
The Herald Sun said Pavlich, who has played a record 320 games for Freo and kicked 647 goals, was in as good a form as any key-forward in the AFL.
Senior coach Ross Lyon told 6PR Sports Today on Monday that the team’s performance was allowing Pavlich to find the ball and hit the scoreboard.
“We’re giving him plenty of opportunities,” he said.
“The team is allowing him to play well.
“He’s playing his role really well.”
