Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow will make his return to the senior side this week, after two dominant performances in the WAFL for Peel Thunder.

“Michael Barlow will certainly play this week,” senior coach Ross Lyon told Seven News on Tuesday night.

Barlow racked up 44 possessions and kicked three of the Thunder’s five goals in Saturday’s win over East Perth in tough, wet conditions.

Matthew Pavlich is set to make the trip over to Melbourne, however Lyon is uncertain whether or not he will play against the Saints.

“We’ll have a look at Pavlich to manage his body in the context of the Etihad hard surface,” Lyon said.

“We might even travel him and see how we go from there.

“It’s a really difficult surface for Matthew.”

Fremantle face St. Kilda on Saturday at 2:35pm AWST.
