Tanner Smith has been named in the TABtouch 22 for Freo’s clash with Brisbane on Saturday.
The key forward will play his third game of AFL since making his debut in Rd 4, 2013 and is coming off a strong performance in the WAFL, where he finished with 16 disposals and 10 marks in Peel Thunder’s four-point win against Subiaco.
Freo ruck duo Zac Clarke and Jack Hannath have also been named in the side to face the Lions.
Clarke returns after a solid two weeks at the WAFL level while Hannath comes in for his first game of 2016.
Matthew Pavlich (groin), Jonathon Griffin (hamstring) and Michael Apeness (collarbone) will all miss due to injury.

Tendai Mzungu, Brady Grey and Matt de Boer have been named as emergencies for Saturday’s game.
Smith was upgraded from the rookie list to the senior list as a replacement for Nat Fyfe, who was placed on the long term injury list on last week.
Brisbane have made three changes with Harris Andrews, Darcy Gardiner and Rohan Bewick all returning from injury.
They will come into the side for Allen Christensen (collarbone), Jackson Paine (foot) and Jonathan Freeman (omitted).
