Two strong performances rounded out Hill’s JLT Series, picking up 122 points and 117 points against Collingwood and Carlton respectively, leading the individual disposal count against the Magpies with 29.

Nat Fyfe (MID, $595,000)
3 JLT games, 281 points, 93.7 average
At $595,000, Fyfe is practically “on sale” due to his injury interrupted 2016 season. You can bank on the 2015 Brownlow Medallist’s effort and ability after a strong pre-season, while picking up an exceptional 147 points in Freo’s final game of the JLT Series against Carlton. It’s no wonder why the Freo captain is owned by just over 40% of teams in AFL Fantasy.

Bradley Hill (MID, $417,000)
3 JLT games, 229 points, 76.3 average
Bradley Hill has shown promising signs since his arrival at Freo, backing up his 84 point game against Collingwood with 97 against Carlton. It’s early signs, but the running midfielder is showing the potential to exceed his average of 69.1 points with the Hawks in the 2016 season, and exceed his current valuation.

Who’s a bargain?
Cam McCarthy (FWD, $211,000)
3 JLT games, 161 points, 53.7 average
The 21-year-old showed his potential in Freo’s final JLT game against Carlton, kicking six goals and earning 93 AFL Fantasy points. At just $211,000, McCarthy is a nice low-risk, high-reward selection for anyone looking to bolster their forward line.

Keep an eye on…
Ed Langdon (MID / FWD, $373,000)
3 JLT games, 183 points, 61.0 average
An after-the-siren hero in Freo’s win against Collingwood, Langdon has the versatility of fitting into your forward line and potentially racking up points in the midfield.
The injury to Hayden Ballantyne may boost Langdon’s hopes of round one selection due to his capability of filling a small forward role.

Lachie Neale (MID, $671,000)
2 JLT games, 173 points, 86.5 average
Lachie Neale may be an excellent fit for Freo, but at $671,000, he may not be the best for your fantasy team. Even after picking up a monster 133 points against Carlton, Neale faces more ‘competition’ for the ball this season with the return of Nat Fyfe, so it’s best to wait and see how the reigning Doig Medallist fits into a healthier Freo midfield.

Wait and see
Luke Ryan (DEF, $150,000)
0 JLT games
Drafted as a mature age defender, 21-year-old Luke Ryan stands a decent chance to earn some game time in 2017 - but don’t pounce too quickly as he currently trains with  Freo’s rehabilitation group. Will almost certainly work his way into the side via Peel in the WAFL.

Harley Balic (MID, FWD, $150,000)

Balic continued his strong WAFL form to end the 2016 season with 24 disposals against West Perth in the WAFL pre-season last weekend. Balic will be up against impressive competition for a spot in Freo’s midfield, but if a door opens up, he could be worth every cent as a dual position player.
