Cam Sutcliffe
Cam played on ball for the majority of the game and was really strong inside the contest, he had 10 ground balls and nine tackles and eight clearances. He ran hard all day and was really strong and clean with the ball.
Sam Collins
Sam played back and was instrumental in defence helping set up Peel’s attack. He had 13 marks, with a lot of those being intercept marks. He had a tough battle with Tom Lamb and Fraiser McInnes. Lamb ended up kicking a few goals late in the fourth quarter but Sam was solid with his defensive work and run off he had 26 possessions.
Luke Ryan
Luke played his first game back for a few weeks, he was solid with the ball and had seven rebounds from defensive 50. He was clean with the ball and took some good intercept marks. It was a game he would be happy to build on.
Matt Taberner
Matt played forward and spent some time in the ruck. He had four contested marks and was really strong and had a good battle with Tom Gorter and Will Schofield. He worked hard up the ground and kicked one goal two, but missed a few goals. His marking presence was really strong.
Taylin Duman
Taylin played at halfback and had five tackles and six marks. He was strong with his rebound and in the tackle.
Ryan Nyhuis
Ryan played another solid game in defence where he had 12 kicks and was clean with the ball. He was really strong with his defensive work and ensuring that he helped the midfield.
Brennan Cox
Brennan played in defence for the majority of the game which has been a change as he has been playing forward earlier in the year. He had real strength with his rebound and spread from the backline and showed that he has some good closing speed as a defender.
Jon Griffin
Jon played ruck and forward for the majority of the game, where he had 34 hitouts and five marks. He was solid around the clearances with his hits and follow up was a lot stronger this week, which was pleasing.
Zac Dawson
Zac played in the Peel backline where he was solid as a defender and helped support the other defenders.
Sean Darcy
Sean played forward and mid and slowly worked into the game finishing with five tackles and 21 hitouts.
Luke Strnadica
Luke played forward the majority of the game. It was tough for Peel’s forwards late in the game but Luke was solid early, taking a good mark but didn’t impact the scoreboard.
