With Fremantle’s debut AFL game at Perth’s new Optus Stadium fast approaching, the club is releasing a commemorative guernsey for the clash against Essendon, played on Saturday 31 March.
The players will wear the commemorative jumper in the club’s inaugural AFL home and away game at Optus Stadium in round two on a one-off only basis.
The guernsey features Fremantle’s trademark purple with white chevrons, as well as an exclusive Optus Stadium print.
The limited edition jumper is available for pre-order in adults and kids sizes online via the Fremantle Dockers Shop.
The adult guernsey will retail for $98.95 for members and $109.95 for non-members, with the kids guernsey retailing for $80.95 for members and $89.95 for non-members.
Fremantle's NAB AFL Womens team is also set to create history playing in the first Australian rules football game at the ground, facing Collingwood in the round two AFLW clash on February 10.
