- Lyon sets challenge for Adelaide trip
Fremantle will go in unchanged for the first time this year in Sunday’s clash with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Four players had been added to the initial 26-man squad but Freo have elected to stick with the team that defeated the Western Bulldogs by 19 points in round six.
Taylin Duman was eligible to return after serving a one-game suspension for striking in round five but defender Ryan Nyhuis, who was Duman’s replacement, has maintained his spot down back after 11 contested possessions and three rebound 50s in the win over the Bulldogs.
The call to go in unchanged comes after senior coach Ross Lyon indicated earlier in the week that competition for spots was healthy, which was a good position for the club to be in as it continues to build on its four wins and two losses in season 2019.
The Crows have brought back key player Bryce Gibbs as they look to make it three wins in a row.
Bounce down for Sunday’s clash is at 4.10pm CST (2.40pm WST) and will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
