Eleven Fremantle-listed players were in action in Peel’s 79-point win over Swan Districts on Saturday at David Grays Arena.
An additional two Fremantle-listed players played for Peel in the reserves.
Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how they fared.
Mitch Crowden
Played on ball for the game. His contested work was really important to give Peel first use with nine clearances, 14 ground balls, 12 hard ball gets and 10 tackles. He continues to build that hard brand.
Tom North
Played on ball for the game. He had 22 possessions, four clearances and a goal. His pressure around the contest was very strong with nine tackles.
Travis Colyer
Played as a high forward. Travis showed his speed and burst to release hard forward. He kicked two goals and also had six inside 50s.
Taylin Duman
Played across half back. Taylin ended up with 15 kicks and showed really strong roll off to get back and support the defence.
Lloyd Meek
Played in the ruck for the game. Lloyd ended up with 20 possessions and two goals with 36 hitouts and seven clearances in a complete ruck performance. He worked hard to give Peel first use around the stoppage.
Sam Sturt
Played high forward where he kicked two goals from 20 possessions. Sam was clean with the ball and was also able to give Peel some good use inside 50.
Hayden Ballantyne
Played high forward. Hayden provided his trademark pressure with five tackles and he pressured the opposition well when they looked to feed back. He had three shots on goal and was lively forward.
Tobe Watson
Played across half-back. Tobe looked composed with the ball and had 14 kicks. He rolled off well and gave Peel some good drive across half back.
Jason Carter
Played across half-back. Jason used his speed and overlap run to help give Peel some bounce from defence.
Ryan Nyhuis
Played across half back. Ryan was clean around the contest with six hard ball gets. He also used the ball well out of defence and helped intercept with two good roll-off marks.
Hugh Dixon
Played in defence. Hugh’s been showing good signs in his one-on-one contests and is putting on some good pressure. He spoiled well in a good battle against Corey Gault.
Luke Valente
Played in the midfield in the reserves. Luke continues to build his game time, he was really strong around the contest and ended up with 27 possessions and kicked a goal. He continues to improve his running capacity and had a good performance.
Dillon O’Reilly
Played back for the game in the reserves. Dylan combined playing higher up the ground and deeper in defence. He rolled off well and his one-on-one contests helped his teammates and he impressed with his skills and ball use.
