To acknowledge Fremantle’s 25th season in the AFL, Fremantle will wear their retro ‘anchor’ style guernsey for hit92.9 retro round against Essendon at Optus Stadium in round 22.

It is a call back to Fremantle’s first-ever home game, which was played against the Bombers at the WACA in round two of the 1995.

Freo wore the ‘anchor’ style jumpers at home games for their first 16 years in the AFL from 1995 to 2010.

The round will be presented by hit92.9, who will busting out some of the best hits from the 90s on game-day.

The jumper will be officially unveiled at Friday night’s Fremantle Dockers Gala Ball, where Freo will also reveal their greatest team – the 25 since ’95, proudly presented by The West Australian.
