Danyle Pearce
Played on ball for the game, he was really strong inside the contest and had 15 clearances and 35 possessions. He ran solidly and kicked a goal and was a great leader for Peel around the contest.
Nick Suban
Played on the wing for the whole game gathering 23 kicks and seven marks. He was strong with his outlet run and worked well between the Peel forward line and defence and was strong with his wing positioning.
Taylin Duman
Played the first half on the wing and showed some real encouraging signs having 11 first quarter possessions, he had nine marks and worked hard around the ground. He played majority of the second half in defence and was solid with his rebound.
Luke Ryan
Played in defence for the whole game, he was good with his ability to roll off and mark. He gathered eight marks for the game, was solid with his ball use and defended quite well.
Brennan Cox
Played in defence, where he was composed and showed ability to roll off and mark. He used the ball well and defended well.
Griffin Logue
Played on Tom Lee for the majority of the game. He was good with his defensive spoiling and took some strong contested marks in defence. He was clean and composed when kicking the ball out of defence.
Sam Collins
Played the majority of the game on Beau Maister at full back. He had 11 marks for the game and 13 kicks. He was clean with the ball and was strong with his one-on-one contests and restricted Maister to one goal and five kicks.
Ryan Nyhuis
Played half-back where he displayed another solid defensive effort playing on Claremont’s Jack Bradshaw and Ryan Neates. He was clean with the ball and provided some good run off half-back.
Sean Darcy
Shared the ruck with Jon Griffin where he was strong with his competition, he had 25 hit-outs, four clearances and his tackle pressure was strong around the contest. He supported the midfield with seven ground balls.
Jon Griffin
Played forward and in the ruck where he had five marks and 24 hit-outs. He was strong with his taps in the centre square clearance and his follow up was solid. It was a great effort from Jon.
Luke Strnadica
Played in the Peel reserves where he was able to work on his ruck craft, which he hasn’t been able to do in the league team the past few weeks. He had 15 possessions and was strong with his hit-outs around the ground. It was a good performance from Luke in the ruck.
Michael Apeness
Played forward for the Peel reserves and was solid with his effort, before injuring his knee.
