More than 200 up-and-coming footballers took part in the Fremantle Footy Skills final on Wednesday 3 July on Legacy Oval at Cockburn ARC.
Freo Footy Skills is a Fremantle Football Club and WA Football Commission partnered program. It allows students the opportunity to participate in a range of fun physical activities, including Freo Fast Ball, Freo Kwick Kick and Freo Long Bomb.
The three events focused on the following abilities;
• Freo Fast Ball is a team handballing competition
• Freo Kwik Kick involves students kicking in pairs over a short distance for three minutes
• Freo Long Bomb involves students kicking a football as far as they can
