Andrew Brayshaw has earned the maximum 10 coaches votes for his outstanding efforts in the midfield during Walyalup’s 29-point win against Geelong on Saturday at Optus Stadium.

Brayshaw racked up 33 disposals in the midfield, with 10 contested possessions, seven clearances, 10 tackles and a goal.

Caleb Serong put in a similar effort and earned eight votes, with 28 disposals, 14 contested possessions, 10 clearances, nine tackles and a goal.

Luke Ryan was awarded three votes for his shutdown job on Jeremy Cameron, and fellow defender Ethan Hughes also had three votes with 16 disposals and seven marks.

Jaeger O’Meara and Sean Darcy received two votes each, with Darcy dominant in the ruck with 43 hitouts and a goal, while O’Meara had 26 disposals, nine clearances and nine score involvements.

Bailey Banfield was awarded a vote - the forward was influential with 20 disposals, eight marks, eight score involvements and a goal.

Tom Hawkins (one vote) was the only player to earn a vote for Geelong.

Serong leads all Fremantle players with 33 votes, behind leaders Zak Butters and Nick Daicos on 51 votes.
