Peel Thunder have moved into fifth position after beating Swan Districts 12.12 (84) to 9.9 (63) at Rushton Park on Saturday.
Assistant coach Marc Webb runs through how each Fremantle player fared.
Tommy Sheridan
Was solid with 34 possessions, six tackles and eight marks off the wing. He ran well and supported the defence, was clean with the ball and solid in the contest.
Luke Ryan
Played halfback and rebounded well, he was clean by foot and used the ball well. He was solid in defence for the game.
Brennan Cox
Played back all game and had 20 possessions and eight marks. He was solid with his roll off and tackle and worked hard up and down the ground, opposed to Matthew Rogers for the majority of the game.
Griffin Logue
Played on Ricky Cary in defence and had 19 possessions and rolled off well. He was solid with his use and had a good battle with Cary, who kicked two goals for the game but kept him to nine possessions.
Jon Griffin
Was really solid with his follow-up both in the ruck and forward. He had 29 hitouts and took two strong contested marks and kicked an important goal.
Ryan Nyhuis
Played a solid half-back lock down role on Taryce Stewart. He kept him in check throughout the game but at the same time had 13 possessions and also took a solid mark in defence. He rolled off and supported well.
Zac Dawson
Played the majority of the game as a forward where he led, competed strongly, kicked a goal and had five marks. He was a key player towards the end of the game when he went into Peel’s defence and helped stopped the Swans fourth quarter surge.
Sean Darcy
Had 31 hitouts in the ruck and was strong around the contest. He went forward and was able to hit the scoreboard, kicking two of his four goals as a forward, the other two when he was playing in the ruck.
Sam Collins
Played as a key defender where he was really strong, taking five marks and had a good battle with Corey Gault. He was strong in his one-on-ones.
Taylin Duman
Played the majority of the game on the wing then went to half-back. He was solid around the contest and was strong defensively.
